“I admit I have always had a false sense of security because I live in a small town. Times are changing and even my little town is not as safe as it used to be. I learned so much by taking this class. You do not have to be strong to protect yourself, nor do you have to be agile. The skills taught rely on taking your attacker by surprise and being aware of your surroundings. Regardless of age, we all need to be able to protect ourselves and have the confidence to do so.” — Carole Kuest Kiele, workshop attendee
